Diaper Swappers

Ok, we are expecting #2 in Dec. For ds we had a Graco Safeseat that goes up to 30lbs. Ds will be about 20 months when the new baby arrives. I really want to get the Chicco carseat for the new baby, but I don't see a double stroller by Chicco that will allow the carseat to snap in it.

I guess my question is, would you keep the Graco Safeseat so that you could get a double stroller where the carseat could snap it in, or get rid of the Graco and get the Chicco and forgo the double stroller??

I just cant decide! I want the Chicco b/c the carseat starts at 4lbs and if we have another preemie, I would like the lower weight limit. Plus it has the infant insert to help support their little bodies. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Honestly if you think that you will really need the double stroller I would use the Safeseat and get the stroller.

There are some double strollers that have adapters and will accept any carseat.

Thats tough!

I used a Graco w/my DD, and I have KF30 for the new babe! But, I partly got the KF was because I had the Chicco stroller.

But, if you really think you'll need the double stroller w/carseat option - go for that!

However, I do love the KF (and I haven't even used it yet

)

The double stroller would be great and I know that we would use it, but at the same time I really wasnt super impressed with the Graco Safeseat. It worked fine, but it got so heavy that we moved ds to a Marathon at 6 months.

I have heard such great things about the Chicco and it feels so much lighter than the Graco. I just wish they made a double stroller to snap the carseat in. Why did they not think of that?!?!

I'd use the safeseat and get a double stroller, 100%.

My Safeseat goes up to 35 lbs and 36 inches.

No matter how heavy the infant carrier is, we automatically move to a convertible carseat (rear-facing) at about 6 months anyway.

My girls are 19 months apart so we got a double stroller thinking we would use it all the time. I think I have used it maybe 5 or 6 times in the past year, the thing is way too heavy to easily move around, doesn't fit in most stores aisles well, and it takes up the entire trunk of my car so grocery shopping was difficult. Just make sure you really like the stroller first if you go that route.

You could also consider babywearing instead of getting a double stroller... if that is an option for you!

I would keep the safeseat.

We have the graco quattro duo and a safeseat and it works great for us. I LOVE our stroller!
