When Sunning doesn't get rid of poop...

what can you do? Someone on ebay sold me some heavily poop-stained diapers (that wasn't mentioned in the auction) and I tried sunning them and it didn't work. They are Fuzzi Bunz. Any suggestions???

Thanks!

Sunning is all thats ever worked, but have you contacted the seller about the condition? You might could also try adding lemon juice....wash them, then squirt some lemon juice on the stains before sunning. I've also heard that you can use some stain removers, but I'm not sure which ones.

i have heard of some moms using a tiny amount of oxiclean or bleach on them without ruining them.

I've used the bleach pen on specific stains, but the lemon juice before sunning... maybe peroxide?

I would recommend a heavy OxyClean soak, if that and sun doesn't work than I think they're permanant! I did have a batch of homemade yams that really stained and never came out!

I second the OxiClean soak.

Before using harsh chemicals, I would wash them again and lay them flat in the sun ALL DAY LONG. If that doesn't work, turn to whatever will and just rinse well. GL and let us know what works!

I didn't think fleece *could* stain that badly, unless it was helped with something like rash cream. I know we have a few wipes with blackish marks that I know are *definately* from desitin and not from poop.

I have found the lemon juice to work wonders!! I would wash, spray the stain with juice, and they lay (wet) in the sun. Once is dries you may need to wash again and repeat. On really bad stains I found putting lemon juice on the whole dipe worked best. Sometimes you will get dark rings where the lemon has broke up the stain, but they have always washed out for me. If it didn't I would repeat the process.
