refunding question

I sold something that I listed as EUC and I believed it was. The buyer pmd me that the stitching was flawed and she would not have bought it if she knew that. She sent pics and I see what she was talking about but I never noticed it before and it doesn't effect the performance of the cover. Anyway, I told her she could return it if she didn't want it and I would refund her money. Do I have to pay for return shipping?

I think you refund what she paid total as that included shipping from your end to her. The shipping back to you should cost the same if she uses the same class of shipping.

Re: refunding question

I think in most cases, at least in the WAHM world, return shipping is the customers responsibility.

I don't think you should have to pay for return shipping and I don't think you should have to cover original shipping. I would tell her she can return it minus the shipping costs . Just my opinion though

Re: refunding question

If it's something of the same item I bought from you, that's just how "those items" are, kwim?
I'd ask her to send them back to you and then you will refund her what she paid to you, but you are not responsible for the shipping from her to you.
