Re: PLEASE tell me...

You can't go by the 2 lines on a digital. they measure the hormone a different way. If you want reassurance, go to http://www.peeonastick.com and click on the info about digitals

Yeah, never pull apart a digital test - the lines don't mean anything!

Ovulation does not cause a HPT to be positive.

Re: PLEASE tell me...

I got a super faint + on a FRER and that was at about 8-9dpo. I was shocked and only believed it b/c I held it up to a BFN and could see the line. I waited 4 more days until AF was due and took a digital and it said Pregnant. I really don't think it would have said Pregnant if I took it that first day I got a BFP, it was so faint. I would wait a day or 2 to take a digital again.

I think she meant 2 lines on the digital test. LH surges showing the 2nd line or something. Sometimes you only get 1 line. I just wonder what the likelyhood is that you have a Pregnant reading and only 1 line on the stick?

Re: PLEASE tell me...

I almost asked you how many DPO you were, but I guess you wouldn't know. Silly me.

What made you take a test in the first place? Were you having symptoms, etc?

I was wondering the same thing. If you are nursing its not uncommon to not get your period for a long time, maybe even after a year. I'd guess that you haven't gotten af back yet b/c you're nursing, and the dollar store tests (which I LOVE) just gave you false pos, which is pretty common for them. I'm just surprised you got one 3 minutes into it.
