Question Question about my missed period? *ANOTHER ?*

Okay last month was my first AF since I had my daughter a year ago. My husband seems to think he had a bit of an accident during intercourse one night Well I am 6-7 days late on my period but showing up negative. I've felt small cramps the last few days thinking I was getting ready to start and then nothing! My question is could my period just be really irregular since it was only going to be my second one? I am still nursing 3-4 times a day, would that make a negative test?

I just want to know one way or another. Thanks!

Re: Question about my missed period?

It could very well be irregular. If it hasn't started in a few more days, test again. As my ob told me when I got surprised with my 4th pg, lactation and ovulation don't work well together.

Re: Question about my missed period?

mine was irregular for several months after my dd. it would range from 32-47 days for months after mine returned.

Re: Question about my missed period?

The part that worries me is that I've been cramping for more than a week off and on. The cramping feels just like my period is starting and then...nothing. Is that a sign of pregnancy?

yes, this can be a sign of pregnancy. Not always, but it can be. I had implantaion cramping with two pregnancies, but it only lasted about a day day and a half.

Hmm....I just wish I knew whether it was worth it or not to go out and buy a test. I tested 3 days ago and it was negative.

how many days has it been since your last AF??

maybe you could order some tests online. I got some and they were alot cheaper, alot more sensitive and got here pretty fast.

I think I got mine at earlypregnancytests.com ??? if that doesn't come up you can do a google search?

maybe AF is just around the corner though, mine were kind of whacky for at least 6 months after it came back after dd.

also if it is implantaion cramping than you might not show up positive for quite a while. I didn't test positive until AF was 5 days late and it was like 3 weeks after I felt the cramping.

good luck!

yes, but you said they were irregular?? so you may not be that late if they have been irregular right? Like I said before mine were way irregular, not the typical 28 day cycle, more like 32-40 plus days, so it was different every month for me.

Re: Question about my missed period? *ANOTHER ?*

Not that they are irregular just that this was only going to be my 2nd period since giving birth. So it very well could be irregular since I'm just starting back.

I was just concerned about all the cramping, and my dh and I had a bit of an accident this month so we knew there was a chance I could be pregnant. I just didn't know if Bfeeding hindered the pregnancy test giving a + result.
