Re: Anyone considering getting pregnant again?

Yeah...me! My ds is 8 mo. and we have a 4 yr old dd. I had 2 miscarriages before dd and 3 before ds. I swore after this last delivery...NO MORE! But now... I'm thinking I might just keep forgetting to buy our 'birth control' supplies at the store. My husband is way okay with that. Sorry! TMI! But I'm still breastfeeding and haven't got my AF back so it still may be awhile. But you're not alone...gotta love these kids!!

Re: Anyone considering getting pregnant again?

We're done. DH is planning the V for after this bean is born. BUT he does want to bank some sp@rm.... JUST IN CASE, he says. Doubt we'll ever use it, though, as I don't enjoy being preggo all that much. LOL.

Right now...I'm good, but I have thought about a 3rd child here and there throughout this pregnancy.

Re: Anyone considering getting pregnant again?

In my second trimester I totally thought, I would want to try right a way for another. Now at 40 wks, and miserable, nope. I will wait, no doubt. My kids seem to come every 3 years due to nursing and nothing else. So that will work again hopefully.

Re: Anyone considering getting pregnant again?

From the third trimester of the first pg till about nine months after her birth, I said, "No way! Never again!" ... but I didn't get my tubes tied... but this time I will. I'm feeling sad about it, but DH is on the population control bandwagon, I don't do well with pregnancy, and I'm already 38....

Re: Anyone considering getting pregnant again?

Well, if it was up to me, eck yea.. but DH is SOOOO done. Hes getting the big V after this one is born, so no more babies for me But Ive already done the back-to-back pregnancy thing.. DS and DD are 11 months apart.. and with #3 we'll have had 3 kids in 35 months (or less if its another early bird).

Re: Anyone considering getting pregnant again?

Hell to the NO! I am so done after this baby. Honestly, if she hadn't come along as a surprise, we probably would have been done after two. DD2 is a difficult child, so I'm a little worried how a new baby thrown into the mix is going to be. I also don't do well with pregnancy, I have been so sick (not just morning sickness, I've had flu-like sickness several times) so I really don't care to repeat this.

If you're planning on breastfeeding, keep in mind that milk supply tends to decrease during pregnancy, so it's possible that you will not be able to exclusively breastfeed if you get pregnant right away. It can also be very painful to breastfeed while pregnant (done it twice).
