Re: To store or not to store

Could you just wash them every other week or so? Or would that be to much trouble?

stretching the elastic is going to help ward off dry rot I don't think it would hurt to wash once in a while either. But it seems like a lot of work IMO jsut put em in spacebags and be done with it lol

So a space bag fixes the bad-elastic problem? What is a space bag - is that one of those deals where you vacuum-seal the bag (so you'd need special equipment)?

I don't know if we're ever having more kids, if so it will be 2 years at least, so I am debating this issue too.

If they are that hard to come by and you really like them, I would keep them. But only as long as you know they will stay in good condition while they are in storage.

Ah yes, the biggest question in CD-ing. I'm still undecided. DD's smalls are stored and I'm crossing my fingers that they'll be okay. I'll probably sell the meds if she ever grows out of them. But... our stash is in the $20 & under range (except for wool). If I'd spent $100 on a diaper, I'm not sure what I'd do.

Re: To store or not to store

it took me a while to decide what to do w/ds's outgrown dipes. i've finally decided i'm keeping pf's and possibly our meaf covers...i'm still not sure on the meaf covers, but i'll probably sell them lol. i'm definately keeping the pf's though. yes i know they're so cheap and easy to buy later on, but with the cost of shipping them it's hardly worth it to sell them. and there's nothing on them that can ruin in storage (unless mice get into them obviously).
anyhow i voted sell them. let someone else get the use out of them instead of letting the elastic go bad.

I'd risk it and store them. If the elastic goes bad you can always get it replaced. You never know if they'll even be around to buy when you want them next. If they weren't faves, I'd say sell. But faves I keep.
