Trainers Question...

My DS just turned 18 months old. We have been using the potty for a week and for the past two days he has worn underwear with only a few accidents. Should I invest in some trainers or continue with the underwear. I just feel so bad when he has urine dripping down his leg, he gets so upset.
Thanks!

Re: Trainers Question...

If your LO is doing well in undies, I'd just stick with those. If you want something that's really more like undies, but with slightly more absorbency in the middle, try some TFD boxer briefs. I got some of these for my guys and they work great! You can get them with an extra layer of fabric in the center strip and that's enough to catch a little bit of a dribble.

Re: Trainers Question...

The only time I really used the waterproof trainers was for errands (car seat protection!) and on days when it seemed she was either slipping back and peeing more often or when I was sick and couldn't pay as close attention as I should.

Being upset about peeing on himself is part of the learning process. If he hates it, he'll try hard to not do it.
