I went to goth clubs. I played clarinet. I studied printmaking and dreamed of going to art school. I travelled to neat places and had enough money to do what I wanted when I wanted. I slept in. I worked too late. I spent long afternoons vegging in cafes, wondering where my life was going, really. I woke up in the middle of the night feeling very alone. My life before DD was awesome and fun, but I don't miss it very much.
