no no balms or anything... he doesnt have any rashes or redness.

I called the Dr, I went and picked up a U-bag from the office and a collection cup to dump it into. He has an appointment at 9:45 am tomorrow.

He is still acting totally fine.... still has not pee'd since I changed his diaper and made this post.... DH turned on the upstairs window units and fan so we have him in the AC.. no sweating and I am nursing him as often as he will take it. We also got some bottled water and baby juice while we were out picking up the U-bag.. he has never drank from a bottle or cup so I dont know how well that will go...

Uric Acid crystals or UTI is what I'm thinking it sounds like. I would probably watch it if he doesnt seem like he's in pain to see if it clears up, if not I would take him in to the pedi.

This is what I would think, especially b/c you said it's salmon colored. This happened twice with DD-- once when she was sick and throwing up and once during a mini nursing strike.

Re: 6mo peeing blood?

Glad to hear it!

The first time it happened to DD when she was sick, she was even admitted to the hospital for dehydration. I showed the doctor and nurses the pee crystals and no one knew what it was!! It was later on these boards I read about it. The women on here keep me sane too.
