making a co-op suggestion?

I was just wondering how I could throw out an idea for a co-op? I tried to start a thread and I couldn't and I don't have 1000 posts so I can't start one myself but I wanted to ask if anyone else was interested in doing one for a particular item.

Also, is it really 1000 posts to host a co-op?

Thanks!

Sarah

The threads aren't deleted, they are moderated - basically put into an area for approval.
Yes, the requirement is 1000 posts to host a co-op. If you don't have enough posts you can always try to find another mama to host for you

What about those of us that have more than 1000 but they just have not been moved over yet? Is that taken into consideration?

Yes, absolutely! We still have access to the old board, so we can check post counts

Re: making a co-op suggestion?

Everytime someone posts to the co-op forum it is moderated. We have to approve all of the posts regardless of someones post count.
The post count is not what prevents your post from appearing right away. We are moderating all of the co-ops.
I just approved your co-op thread Rachele, so you are all set.

Re: making a co-op suggestion?

I'm still wondering how I can throw out a suggestion asking if someone else would like to host something if I don't have 1000 posts myself? I would think that the co-op forum would be the best place to ask if anyone would be willing to host something.

Thanks

Sarah

Re: making a co-op suggestion?

To answer your original question Sarah, go ahead and start a post in the co-op forum asking if there is interest. Also ask if someone is willing to run it. I will approve the post so we can get an idea of interest.
