Re: Babywearing

I'm an attention whore so it's a lot more fun to wear her(or sometimes Taci and Sophie)then to put either of them in a stroller. Grocery carts are just nasty so there is no way I'm doing that

Re: Babywearing

We do both....ever since ds hit like 5 months he has never been big on bwing. He seems to hate my sling now but will tolerate the ergo, but at 25lbs it's hard for me to wear him for long periods, guess I must be a whimp. He has always been super active and never likes being confined to anything!! Hopefully our next one will be laid back and relaxed and will let me wear them all day long .

I voted for both but I just started wearing dd in a pnut sling. I love it and so did she. It was akward at first but I really got used to it and enjoyed it.

Re: Babywearing

I wear my 19month everyday. I do a ton of yardwork everyday and he's right there with me!

Re: Babywearing

I use both dependign on where we are going and how long we will be out. I often wear my twins together in 2 RSs though.

Re: Babywearing

I use both.
If we're going for a long walk, I use the double jogger. If we're going for a short walk, I use a single stroller (that has a footboard on the back for ds3 to stand on) or wear the baby. If we're out and about (church, grocery shopping, shopping), either dh or I will usually wear baby. If it's just me and baby out shopping, I let her ride in the cart or wear her (if she's sleepy or fussy). Whatever make them happiest! (But I always have a sling/MT/wrap with me, just in case. )

Re: Babywearing

stroller, I can't use slings since I've got a rod in my back. If dh is around he'll carry him or hold his hand while he walks.

Re: Babywearing

I always wear. DS loves to be worn (he's a huge cuddler.)

I use wraps when he's wiggly because he can move around more in them, depending on how I tie it, but I use pouches the majority of the time. He's actually napping right now in a hip carry turned sideways in a Slingling pouch

Re: Babywearing

When Luke was a little baby I wore him 99% of the time but now that he is almost 2 and I'm pg again I usually use a stroller/shopping cart with him unless he is walking. Although, I did use my Hotsling twice recently and he still does well in it.

Re: Babywearing

WOW so many baby wearing mamas !! (not a bad thing)

With DS I had a carrier but only used it a few times during a Tornado warning and a few times when he was sick and wanted to be held constantly.
He liked it when he was in it, but he liked the stroller more because he was one that liked to stretch. He didnt even like to be swaddled, he would scream.

I want a sling for nursing this time, but that is probably the only time that I would use it and I know that DH wouldnt wear it.
It is a toss up for me because I dont want to get one and then not use it, but I dont want to not get one and then wish I had.
