another thought.. is your DD in a growth spurt or teething? or is this something that happens all the time?
Kathryn's schedule is almost exactly like this, except she sleeps from 10:30-11 to 1:00 - 1:30. She's just 17 mos old.

ETA: She's slept like this all of her life. She is gradually having more awake time, though, as she gets older.

Re: Okay something is wrong!

I don't know if this is helpful or not, but my daughter went through a spell where she was sleeping for 18 hours a day. It went on for 5 months when she was two until two and a half. We went from one doctor to another trying to figure out what was wrong. Finally I figured out it was a food sensitivity, or more accurately, a chemical sensitivity. She goes through the same thing anytime she has anything (including medicine) with artificial sweeteners in it. It takes up to two weeks to get it out of her system depending on how much/ how long she was on it.

Is she anemic at all? It can cause tiredness.

My child never sleeps, so I have no advice.

We don't vaccinate, we kept our sons intact, we use cloth diapers, we co-sleep, we extended RF, we breastfeed, but we watch too much tv and I totally dig plastic! Everyone has their issues, lol.

Re: Okay something is wrong!

Jen is 21mths and is awake for 9-10 hrs a day. She has been stuck on this schedule since about 10mths.
I hope they figure out why your dd is sleeping so much.
