Oh no! This cannot be...(Updated in post #50)

I just took a cheapo pregnancy test and it was postitive! Please tell me cheap can mean false positive!!!
I am seriously still shaking like crazy and feel so close to vomiting right now, and not due to being pregnant.

Little history. I've had PCOS for 15 years since I got AF at 18. Told I'd have a VERY hard time having kids due to almost no AF's. I've had only around 12-18 in the last 15 years!
1st DS was a surprise, with no AF for the previous 6 months. (Dr. still unsure how it happened.)
2nd DS was a little planned but sooner than expected.
3rd and my DD was a shock! I was on BC for several months even though I had no AF's. We did this due to the other 2 coming with no AF's.

Well we took SERIOUS precautions this time and were so proud to make it through our every other winter being pregnant. (All kids are fall babies every other year.)
Anyways, we did the deed 2 times after taking a 3 month hiatus like we usually do.

I have been feeling a tiny bit 'yuck' and just not eating well and loosing weight. (Happened with my other pregancies). So I took a cheap test just to clear my mind and it's positive. Definite line there after about 15 sec.

All our $ has been sunk into our business and we are barely making ends meet due to the rising costs in everything.
I am just FLOORED!!!
I can't do 4 kids 6 and under.

Anyone hear of false positives.. (where is the fingers crossed smilie?)

All my cheapo tests were accurate.

Even the .99 cent ones from the dollar store.

BUT *pats you on the head* It COULD be wrong. Maybe you should buy a $3.00 test and try that one.

I've heard that false positives are very rare, BUT you could be one of the rare ones.

I would get a digital test. I have heard of evap lines in cheapo test...15 seconds is pretty quick for those. I have heard of false positives (not too common, but can happen). Definitely test again!

If it comes out positive then your prego... no doubt about it. There are false negitives but not false positives. If the hormone is there... your pregnant. I'm sorry it came at a bad time for you but I know you'll make it through this! If it is not against your beliefs you should have your tubes tyed or get Essure. Thats the only way to know for sure you'll not have anymore babies. Well, I know some people who've gotten prego after a tubal but the Essure is supost to be 100%. Anyway, Congraulations! I know you'll find this to be a blessing (eventually!)

I've had false positives. They even occasionally have recalls for false positives.

This website is great. She lists the different tests and all recalls etc.

Here are the current recalls etc:
