what do you do with empty formula cans?

We use for cereal also. They are also good for sugar etc. I have an airtight canister for sugar etc on the counter but one bag of sugar will never fit into it. So I put the extra in a small formula container. Then if I am not baking etc and needing a 1/2 cup or whatever and only needing TBSP I can just grab the can.

I ended up storing the grease from cooking in mine. Not really creative but I needed to put it some where.

We collected them for the preschool at our church, and we tore the labels off, covered them in contact paper, and used them to store small toys and manipulatives that went out on the shelf. We took pictures of the toys inside each can and glue the picture and word label onto the outside of the can for easy clean-up!

Starter gardens, tools (Screws/nuts/bolts, etc.), craft supplies, change, we use them to store sugar and sweet n low on the counter and for DH to take along a bit of things he might need when he's travelling for his job like a couple cups of flour or some cereal or oats, etc. We use them for compost collection, grease collection, etc.

We get 19 cans per month, and she'll go up in another couple lbs (for every kg, we go up 2 cans/month) so we've gotten creative...WE recycle them as well. I'm going to offer some to MIL for her classroom as well. She teaches pre-K

Some really neat ideas here! I save baby food jars for other uses, but never even thought about formula cans. Cool!
