Do any of you knitters fix holes in the crotch & leg of longies?

I also need them lengthened.

I never have. DD outgrows them before wearing them out . It shouldn't be too hard, though. I fixed a hole i Dh's sock. Wouldn't it be about the same thing?

Re: Knitters to fix holes in longies

I just bought a couple of pairs off FSOT & one pair has a hole in the crotch and another pair has a hole in the leg. I knew this when buying, but assumed I could find someone to fix it, even if posting on craigslist or somewhere.

I could prob fix them, but you could ask at a local yarn store for someone or check online for a knitting group near you. I just searched and found 4 different groups in OKC.

That's a godo idea!

Do you have pics? Pics would help us knitters knot how "fixable" they are... and how easy it would be to do it.

In the crotch I would just take a needle with wool yarn and do a whip stitch to close the hole. The leg would probably need a knitter/crocheter.
