Diaper Swappers

I know some of you put TTO in your diaper wash, where can I buy this, and can I use any of the TTO (like the lavender, or soemthing like that)? How much do you add?

You can get it at WalMart in the health/pharmacy section. Just a few drops in there.

I get mine from Melaleuca in the water soluable form called Sol U Mel, but I hear you can get a 4 oz bottle at Target for like $5 or $10.

Yep, Wal-Mart for $4.?? (almost $5). It was on the top row in the vitamin isle there. Brown bottle w/ yellow label (Melaleuca kind).

Some people mix Lavender and TTO for a nice blend.

I don't use it in my wash but in the diaper pail on a cloth wipe at the bottom of it. I don't throw the wipe in the wash w/ the pail liner and dipes but that's just cause I don't like the TTO smell all that much. Most mamas who put it on a cloth wipe in the pail just wash the wipe w/ the dipes so they get it in the wash that way. I have sensitive sinuses and having it in the pail is hard enough.

I loved it when I first smelled it but not too long after and I cannot handle too much!

Like one drop of each lavender and TTO on a cloth should be enough in your pail.

My Safeway carries TTO but it's $12 for a small bottle and Wal-Marts is a lot bigger for $5.

You can get lavender EO at any aramotherapy store or Natural Foods store.

I buy mine at the health food store, but you can get it most places now. I generally use lavender oil. Remember that all EO's are VERY concentrated and very strong smelling. A tiny, tiny amount goes a LONG way.

I will sometimes (once a week, or sometimes less) will put 2 or 3 drops in the first rinse cycle.

I don't like over-perfumey smells, so I really don't like to use it all that much.

I do put some on a cloth wipe and put it in my diaper pail as well. It helps to cut out any oders. I also put baking soda in the bottom of my pail--that helps a lot!

I've used a few things, but I love TTO. I have some at my store. I put in the smallest amount possible without dribbling down the side of the container.

Did you get into the essential oil coop? It is ending tomorrow. I'm getting a big bottle of tto for really cheap!!

yep wally world lathough some dont like to shop there, any health food store will do
i use it first thing, few drops in my cold rinse.
