lol I can totally picture...thanks for the Of course my cousins who are 18 and 16 are totally spoiled brats...both girls, if it makes any difference (which I doubt) I know about...3 years ago...when they were 15 and 14 (it was close to K's birthday but not quite) it was Christmas....and we were all over there as a family gathering...as we tend to do....and for the entire night they threw fits about how they wanted cell phones and we need cell phones and give us cell phones...o.o well they didn't know it but my uncle and aunt had bought them cell phones but hadn't given them to them yet....yeah they did still give them to them after all of that....and A even had the nerve to complain about the IPOD they got her (with her name engraved on it) because it 'wasn't the one she wanted' o.0

sometimes it's NOT just a phase...if you give in too much. hehe

We're at the same thing too! But now, instead of just screaming, he throws him self down on the floor. Its kinda funny actually.

The one thing I read about temper tantrum which I try to follow, is ignore the behavior, but not the child. So when he's doing that, I don't give him what it is that he's crying for, but I try and get him interested in something else. I def don't pick him up. I will give him what he wants when he settles down though.

OP. My DD is doing this too. And she even is going through a weird phase (at least I hope it's a phase, lol) where she will cry hard if DH or I just say the word "ow."
