10/11 weekly weigh in

Last week I was 230.0 and this week I am 227.4. I haven't been able to excercise much this week but I think the food monster's hold on me has been broken! I hope everyone is doing well and if there have been setbacks, then we are off to a fresh start ths week!!!

Janelle, how are you doing after you surgery? I hope you are doing good.

I am 180.25, a gain of 1.25. I am not happy about it. I was down 2lbs until Monday morning. Thanksgiving really messed me up.

Oh, I forgot about the Canadian thanksgiving. It is a new week and it is off to a good start!

Surgery went well...now on top of healing down there, I have a monster yeast infection, UGH...I gained a bit in fluids but that seems to be coming back down to my average weight of 165. I don't think I'll get the go ahead for exercise for another 6 weeks or more, but I've got 25 lbs to go. Thanks for asking

may I be nosy ... and ask what you had surgery for ?

subtotal hysterectomy, rectocele repair (where the rectum herniates into the vagina), perineorraphy (fixing where I tore with my first delivery and wasn't sewn up properly), and labiaplasty (labial reduction - also necessary as a result of my pregnancies and deliveries). Hysterectomy was initially because of the prolapse problems...then he was going to leave the uterus, but when he got in there it was "bulgey" with a "bunch of fibroids".
