how to get EBF stains out of microfiber?

I have some microfiber inserts from BG 3.0s that have EBF poop stains on them. I sprayed them with the diaper sprayer but after washing, they are kind of rust colored. I've sunned them and they are still stained. Anything I can put on them to help with the stains? Everytime my ds poops, this is what happens...

I hope your microfiber isn't touching babies skin...It will dry it out badly.

Did you get them wet before sunning? For some reason I can only get out stains when the fabric is wet

Good luck mama

Re: how to get EBF stains out of microfiber?

Here's what was recommended to me but I haven't tried it yet personally.

After you wash them, then put them in the sun (while they are still wet.) While they are drying or almost dry, mist them with a spray bottle that has water with some lime (or lemon) juice in it. I'd do one part water to one part lime. Mist them and let them dry more and then mist them again. The lime has antibacterial properties and also helps them to smell fresh. HTH!

From the washer put straight into the direct sunshine, works like a charm.

Ditto to previous responses. Right from the wash to the sun, squirt of lemon juice if extra stubborn. My babe is EBF and we always get the stains out with out much extra work than above.

these are the inserts for the bg 3.0s. I've sunned them 3 times wet. I guess I'll try lemon juice. Thanks!!!

do you use diaper creams? The only time I've seen the rust color staining is when I've used diaper cream. Laying in the sun while wet has always brought the stains out for me though

I've only used a tiny bit of nature's essence but that was on the dipe and not the insert. This is definitely EBF poop because it's happened to 2 inserts now. Only the microfiber ones too. Hmmm, are there any sprays or anything I can use to get this out? I've sunned the one large stain 4 times and washed 5 times and it's really not getting any better. But it makes me worried about the rest of my inserts...

If they're set-in stains, sunning them might not be enough. You could try bleaching them.
