Unhappy Izzy is weaning... FAST (sob). And a ? for ya.

So, I was planning on trying (very little) to wean Izzy since my OB recommended it. But, my supply has really tanked and DH and family are really hard selling the weaning. As a result, Izzy's only nursing MAX 2 times a day - bedtime and wake up. The up side is that she's FINALLY sleeping through the night and seems to be doing really well during the day without her nursies. I just wasn't prepared for it to happen so fast. I miss my cuddle time with her.

Thanks for letting me whine. I didn't realize weaning her would be so fast and it would upset me so much. Stupid preggie hormones!

Now, for my weird question. I'm still wearing nursing bras all the time since I don't have any other ones that fit and I can't be bothered to buy any since I'll restart nursing in January. Is it weird for me to still be wearing them when Izzy's not nursing? Oh, did I mention that I wear 'em at work too? WDYT?

I thought this was going to be a nursing question not a fashion question. I hate buying bras. I wear whichever one fits at the time. Usually I wear the nursing bras once I grow out of my regular ones.

Heck, I'd wear the nursing bras. If they fit, wear them. Who's gonna know? lol.

ETA: and on a side note: DS self-weaned down to morning and night nursing for almost 6 months before he finally didn't want any milk anymore. It still could be a very long road.

Wear what's comfy to you. Whose gonna check anyway? haha So nobody has a chance to think you're weird! Sorry about the early weaning but it's probably for the best now if your babe is taking it so well.

My LM is 26mn and is down to twice a day. I cried. I also cried when the twins weaned at 17mn while I was pg with him.

I wore nursing bras during all my pg. My boobs get bigger and I hate the idea of wasting $$ on non nursing ones I'll only wear a few months.
