Shipping is really cheap in Korea, depending on what you want I could probably ship it for $5 or $6.

Take a look at the stuff:http://s98.photobucket.com/albums/l261/potblackettle/

I have more stuff, I just haven't gotten a chance to photograph it.

I'm trying to declutter and maybe earn a few bucks for moving up to medium diapers (this kid is huge!).

Re: Anybody in South Korea?

We are on Geoje-do (island just south of Tongyeong). I'm glad to see some others here! I just started CDing. Does anyone get their supplies here or do I have to order everything from home? I'm thinking specifically about detergent. I am using some random stuff from Home Plus right now (which seems to be working fine but I'd like to know what's in the stuff!)...

I have never used my Korean address, I don't even know it, plus I am moving (Woo-hoo) locally in Oct.

I am here with the military and buy my soap on post.
My diapers I buy online or make. I have seen flats and covers here. I have some covers but they don't last as long or fit chubby babies very well.

Re: Anybody in South Korea?

I am in the states but wanted to say hi to y'all! I grew up in Korea (Pang-pae-dong in Seoul...) and get grumpy everytime we chose orders because the Navy doesn't have anything over there that my DH can do.

We used cloth diapers on me and my sister's growing up but that back in the day of PF's and plastic pants.

i get my detergent from drugstore.com and get it delivered to my APO address but I've never used my Korean address either.

Re: Anybody in South Korea?

I just ordered some Charlie's Soap from jilliansdrawers.com also a friend ordered some soap nuts online and they were shipped here. We're not military so these are shipped to our Korean address w/o a problem (just a lot of money for shipping!). Hopefully either the Charlies or soap nuts will be great for us and then I can have people bring it in their suitcase when they come to visit.

I had my mom bring us a ton of stuff from home when she came to visit.

I also buy Seventh Generation when I go into Gwangju... I know they sell it in Shinsegae stores.

The flats in Korea are TERRIBLE! I love the covers, but then I have a super skinny baby. I so wish I knew how to make dipes... I just paid a ton to have dipes made and shipped to Korea.

DS just outgrew his Kissaluv contours and it's killing me. They were my favorite diapers! I need to bring myself to sell them, but I just can't! He wore them until he had perpetual plumbers crack!

As for Korean address, I guess because I don't live on base or in a large foreigner area I kind of have to know my Korean address. I can write it in English and in Korean... which is useful.

Re: Anybody in South Korea?

Hi! I'm not in South Korea yet but will be sometime before the year is out. My husband is going over to teach English. We have a two (almost three) year old daughter and yeah, we are going to be doing cloth for her while we are there since I'm not going to try and find diapers over there for her. So, I have a small stash now, just a few pocket diapers but I would LOVE to hear about what to expect as far as the care of diapers over there or anything else really because I am just SO freaked out about going over there especially since the job my husband thought he had fell through now so we're probably going to have to take just anything that comes through for us. I'm SO upset about this! I have a VERY hard time meeting people and making friends and have lived here in small town USA for two years without having anyone to really talk to. Online just is not enough, I need to interact with people too. To top it off, I have hearing issues so I cannot just learn another language which my husband really doesn't understand. He can pick up languages very well and I cannot. We were hoping to be in Suwon because it is very important for me to be somewhere that has a lot of Western influence but now, it looks like that isn't going to happen. *sigh*
