Re: Why can't I have even one CDing friend IRL??

Oh my word I feel the same way!! No one in my life at all even remotely is interested in CDing, instead I get irritated looks and comments of me trying to be a superMOM by CDing, or that I'm just plain crazy.Even my mom thinks it's stupid and that I shouldn't talk about it with people anymore. I swear that CDing is the only topic I can bring up to moms and they can get mad. It's so weird as if I asked them if they've sewn their childrens clothes from scratch. I know no one who CD's and I have about 15 friends & relatives who have babies...lots of sposies!!!

I researched CDing on my own and just kind of did trial and error, all awhile everyone telling me it wasn't worth it. So I tell everyone when ever they comment on me not using sposies, that one day sposies will be outlawed and everyone will have to use cloth and I'm just ahead of the game!

Re: Why can't I have even one CDing friend IRL??

My best friend, whose dd I CD, likes the idea of CDing. In fact, I have "forgotten" a few dipes at her house and she will use them and even makes it a big deal to tell me about it when Libs is wearing one! But she just doesn't get the fun of shopping for the dipes or why I get so excited over a new style or print! Oh well, at least she doesn't think I am that much of a weirdo for Cding her dd.

I have family in Kansas Lianne If I come visit, I will be your friend

I met one momma who was cding last week at our BF support group - of course, she didn't even know what a snappi was! She was very impressed by it though.

Nope, El Paso isn't really "near" AZ. El Paso is in West Texas...practically in New Mexico for that matter and it borders Mexico (Jaurez). However, there is an El Paso DS mama...heidikirk I think?

Re: Why can't I have even one CDing friend IRL??

I have one IRL CD'ing friend, but she lives an hour and a half away.

Fortunately, even though none of my friends use CD's, they're all supportive. They've watched DS for me several times, and they never have a problem with using CD's on him. They just say it's not for them and their family.
