Tandem nursers or those nursing toddlers!

How often does your toddler nurse? My 19 month old was nearly weaned while I was pregnant; he was down to once a week! And then he refused to nurse at all once my colostrum came in. But ever since my milk came in (3 weeks ago), all he wants to do is nurse. I'm exhausted trying to keep up with breastfeeding a newborn and him. I can distract him some of the time, but not usually. Dh was fine with extended nursing when it was once or twice a day, but now he thinks I should wean Aydin because he sees how frustrated and exhausted I am trying to nurse two. Tell me this gets easier!

Nathan is 17 months, and he nurses anywhere from 4-10 times a day!! 4 if we're busy or out and about, but if we're home all day, he will nurse as often as I let him!

i'm pg right now, so molly's dropped her nursing a good bit - probably 3-4 times a day now. she's 2. before it was probably 6-8 x day.

i have heard that it's pretty common for a toddler to nurse like a newborn when your milk first comes in for the new baby. i don't know how long it lasts, but i think eventually you have to reach some sort of equilibrium.
