So I posted a couple days ago about changing our little girls name so she would have my intials. Well, we are sticking with Emrie Lanae(DH wouldn't budge on changine it) but I want to add Rose to her first name. She'll have my same intials, just in a different order. How do you think I spell it?? Any suggestions??
Emrie-Rose Lanae T Emrie Rose Lanae T Emryrose Lanae T ?????

Re: Spelling help!
I like option 2. My middle name is Lanae too!
How are you pronouncing Emrie? Like Em-re or Em-er-e? If that makes sense. lol |

Re: Spelling help!
I like Emrie Rose Lanae. Hyphens can get to be pretty troublesome. I knew a little girl whose name was Sara Rose and I worked great for her.
Also, If she decides to shorten it and only go by Emrie when she is older, I like the spelling of Emrie better than Emry. Good luck choosing!

Re: Spelling help!
My understanding is that according to social security, the second name is considered the middle name. Any additional names between the second name and the last name do not "count". You might call and ask, especially if you want her middle name to officially be Lanae.
What about EmrieRose or EmryRose. You can capital any letter you want. (you might check on this, too) She can then just go by Emrie or the full name.
