Is BFing making me eat more??

HAhahahahaha!!

I totally eat way more when nursing. I'm a human garbage can, and I don't care what I eat, as long as it's quick and easy to get (which translates into junk and fruit and carbs).

I'm in my "fat period" and won't be out of it until dd weans at 2. Oh well. At least the weight falls off after she weans, within the year after. But until then - I'm fat and hungry, and there's not a darn thing I can do about it.

I also go through spurts of constant HUNGER. For me, it gets better the older the baby gets (perhaps because the baby takes more solids and needs less BM). After a meal with my old boss, she told me that she'd never seen a woman clean a plate the way that I had. But the funny thing is, I also lose incredible amounts of weight while I am eating like this. So obviously it's not a bad thing that I am eating all the time.

I do eat pretty healthfully too but am known for my chip cravings this time. Oh, and I canNOT go without chocolate.

My problem after my son weaned was that I forgot to cut down on my cals so I gained some weight. I plan to be more mindful of that this time.
