Just a note...if anyone participates in a Frontier co-op on here or otherwise, Dr Bronners is on sale in the 8oz & 32oz sizes.

I'm planning on putting a 2oz or 4oz size in our 72 hour emergency bags since it can be used for washing/cleaning everything!

Re: dr bronners recipes

So i have been playing around with all my new "toys" haha i mean coconut oil, dr b's, baking soda etc. I really dont like the feeling of plain dr b's on my hands/body even diluted with water. So today my "body butter" mixtue of coconut oil and olive oil were just on the counter during my shower so i thought why not! I put a tab of my body butter in the palm of my had and a few drops of dr b's rubbed my hands together and soaped up! I had fantastic lather and i didnt have that over dried tacky feeling i had with just the dr b's, plus i didnt have to moisturize with i got out of the shower! Any one else try something like this? Oh also i made tooth paste with dr b's, baking soda and coconut oil-it taste like soap! Not horrible but ill have to see what i can do to fix it as i know DH will not go near it like that.

Whats the ratio for dishwashing soap?

I use it as soap, body wash, shampoo, and dish washing but not good on the ratio yet!

I use Dr B's in a foamer for hands but for dishes and laundry I use the plastic dispensers that Method comes in. One squirt in a sink full of dishes is good, I think it is about a Table spoon. Also for those in the PNW Super Supplements has a great sale on Dr Bs and Sal's Suds. I just bought Sals Suds for the first time and love it. I've been using it for dishes and diapers and everything inbetween.
