Bad reaction to dairy!

We were at friendlys the other night and DH went to give LO a taste of his whipped cream and LO just dived his whole face in on accident. So we were like haha, KWIM, and go about cleaning him off. Well not even 2 mintues later I notice his face is getting bright red where the cream had touched and HOT to the touch. I rush him to the bathroom to wash his face and he starts sneezing like crazy.

I was this close _ _ to rushing him to the ER but his symptoms went away pretty quickly. I don't know what to do now? Should i call his ped and let them know?

Needless to say DH and i feel like terrible parents!

Many peds recommend avoiding dairy until your lo is 12 months. He should be okay now but I would watch in the future for signs of allergies now that your lo's been exposed at such a young age.

I also wouldn't suggest dh giving lo a taste of anything that's a known allergenic!
