My Mood:
What are/is your suggestion(s)/input & advice?

AS you can see from my siggy my SNS is on the way and I'm going to try to wean completely from formula for supplemental [I just don't pump enough to fully satisfy him as a supplemental feeding].

Anyway, in the mean time, my little guy [8weeks] is proving to be quite the spitter-upper as well.
I mean TONS....I go through 5 or more chinese prefolds a day as burp cloths!! As of now he is gaining weight though so I know he's still retaining a good amount of food..
But I can really tell that it actually hurts him and is probably borderline reflux [I think he's mildly colicky too...has terribly painful gas about once a day at 7pm for about an hour].

Anyway, do you think the gripe water and/or colic calm may help some?
Also I honestly believe the spit up is mainly from that darn Nestle Good Start formula that WIC provides.
Should I buy a different kind on my own [like a can or something] and see if it helps to reduce the amount and then talk to my pediatrician about "writing a prescription" for WIC to give me a different kind? This is what I've heard has to happen...

Anyway, what are your thoughts, experiences, advice, input?? Thanks mamas!

I dont know your story about why he is on formula, etc . . . But babies pit up and it is totally normal. If he is unhappy while spitting up, then he probably has reflux and should be seen by a pediatric GI doctor. The fact that he is gaining weight is great. I have had 4 kids with reflux and it is very very unpleasant.
