Thumbs up Coolababy review...

I've had the Coolababy one size pocket diapers from ebay for several days now (they came in Saturday morning). So far I have to say I am very pleased with them.

They have a fleece lining and they come with one microfiber insert. There are 3 snap settings to adjust the rise and they have a snap closure. The way the insert goes in reminds me of a Fuzzi Buns (I don't have any, but I've seen them around). The insert alone won't hold enough for overnight, but it is more than enough for daytime. At night I've been adding the newborn insert that comes with the BG OS.

This fits much looser in the thighs. I do not think these would be good for really thin babies. On the smallest setting they fit my son (4.5 months 14lbs 5oz) between perfect and a tad loose. The BG OS on the other hand fit him a bit too snug in the thigh. There are usually light red marks when i take those off.

I bid and won the auction for 4 diapers at $34.99 including shipping. That comes to $8.75 per diaper. I also ordered them on a Sunday evening and they came in the following Saturday morning via Express USPS. Not too bad if you ask me.

Anyways, here are some pictures:

Re: Coolababy review...

Great pics! I use bG 3.0 and have to FB as well. I am tempted to try the coolababy dipes although i really dont need to buy more..it is just so much fun to try new things. My bGs fit my 18lb DD v. well, where the medium FB have a significant amount of gaping around her thighs. So it seem from you description that the coolababy dipes might fit more like FB.

Re: Coolababy review...

There was a really great Coolababy review on Extra Fluffy that showed how the mama added snaps to get a smaller fit. It was interesting and I would recommend checking that out if you're interested in using these on a smaller baby. I have some of these and they are good, but the legs are looser, so I have been using them on the medium setting for my 15 month old, and that has helped immensely! I don't love them as much as my BG (which would be hard to do), but they are great diapers and look good!

Are these the ones that ship from China? I had seen some on eBay that looked very professionally made and the price was decent, even to ship international.

Re: Coolababy review...

Glad to hear that you like them. I'm waiting on mine to come any day now My baby has chunky thighs so it sounds like these will be a great fit.

Thanks, Laura

Re: Coolababy review...

I found some of these on craigslist for $7 each, I emailed them about them, I'm glad to hear they work well on babies with chubby thighs, that's the problem we have with so many dipes! We have to normally buy large just to accomodate my dd's chunky legs

Re: Coolababy review...

I just recieved my coolababy's today. 8 diapers for $48 plus $16 shipping. So far, they look well made and I can always add my BG doublers for extra absorbtion. It only took 8 days for the diapers to come in. The price is fantastic.
