new lunches

I just bought a bunch of new things for ds to try in his lunch box for school.
My question is how should I go about introducing all these new things?
Should we have a big trying buffet one afternoon? Just stick them in his lunch for school and hope he eats? Or just kinda randomly try samples at home? Or some other handy idea you have?

Re: new lunches

I usually make sure my ds has enough things in the lunchbox that I know he does like, then add one new thing and see if it is gone when he returns home!

I would just add one new thing every couple days and see if he likes it. I'm sure he'll either bring it back home if he doesn't or tell you that he doesn't like it.

I don't know if that will work with him. I think he'll just eat everything else and not try the new something.
he's picky and not to good about trying new things.

I think the adding something each time would be a good idea - maybe even mention it to him that you put something new in his lunch and see how he reacts when he gets home? Hope it works for you!

Re: new lunches

Maybe offer one new thing with each meal and/or snack? I never put a new thing into a lunchbox unless they have specifically requested it.
