Need a new pump but which one?

Hi! I am in the market for a new breast pump. I was using the Avent manual but it is no longer functioning properly (plus there's the BPA issue). I am looking to purchase a Medela pump and was wondering which is most recommended out of the Manual, Single Deluxe, or the Swing models. I may be going back to work soon so I need to get one soon. I am looking for an affordable one (limited funds at the moment). Which one would you suggest?

I had a madela and it worked fine. I know avent is making new bottles and sippies that are BPA free! So maybe they'll make new pumps bpa free!

I love my avent!

Re: Need a new pump but which one?

I called and talked to someone that sells the Medela they told me they don't recomend the swing model if you are going to use it lots. Also, they recomend to plug it in rather than use the battery mode.

I bought the freestyle one. It's not really quite but it's not bad and it does work really well.

All Medela parts that come in contact with the milk are BPA free.

Another vote for the Lansinoh/Ameda Purely Yours (same pump, diff names). It is comparable to the PISA, but half the price!

I haven't looked up the Ameda pump but it does not look like the Lansinoh double electric pump is BPA free. Any one have more info on this?
