Diaper Swappers

Ugh, I feel like crap and my two boys really don't care. DH is gone to work from 5am until 9pm and in bed by 10pm. I just need someone to give me a hug or two. This will be the 5th time I've had it, the first time since bfing dd. I can't remember, when do you go in? I think I always waited to go until I had a fever and was on my death bed.

Ugh - that is misery! I didn't even have to go in - my Dh called the OBGYN and told them what was going on and they phoned in a prescription for antibiotics right away. You might give your OBGYN a call and see if you can save the trip. Hugs to you indeed! And I hope you are feeling better very soon!

Best advice he gave me was to nurse with the LO's chin pointing toward the pain/clog. Last time mine was at the top of my boob so LO nursed laying in bed, up-side down lol.

HUGS! I feel for you, the first 2 months of BF'ing was so bad for me I almost gave up.
I say get the med's now and the minute you get a temp take it. No one wants to ride around in a car when you feel like that, it would be nicer to have it at the ready.
I took a hot shower then nursed, put her chin toward the clog and bf'ed with her on the bed and me hanging over her - not easy but gravity did help. you may need another hand to make sure your DD can breath. it was a funny sight, me with my butt in the air and my boob smothering my girl

It will get better, get lots of rest if you can

Ugh! Mastitis is the worst! I've had it twice and felt like I was dying both times! Feel better soon!
