Way to go! I was very shy while nursing my oldest 15 years age. Now i make a point of nursing in front of people who are uncomfortable. Mostly there uncomfortable because there unfamiliar. Seeing nursing as normalcy has changed alot opions of those around me.

Good for you! Glad to see mamas NIP more often. you have my support.

I nursed my 7 month old during my son's orientation for Kindergaten lol She was fussy and we were trying to consentrate on Isaac so I just asked if the teacher minded she said no, so I was covered up and nursed while I filled paper work and she did things with Isaac to see what level he was at. ha ha ha.

That's awesome. Nursing in public will just get easier and easier.

DH's head would explode if I did. I did take my stepkids to the pool and went out on the deck (no one was out there) and nursed him with my towel over us. The lifegaurd told me there was no eating or drinking at the pool and I couldnt do that there. I could bottle feed him though. I dont get it.

I'm so sorry your dh isn't supportive! I can't imagine the fights we'd have at my house if my dh was anti-nip. I would have told that lifeguard to shove it, if you are in an area where you and your baby are allowed to be, you are allowed to nurse. Period.

I would have to say something to the management or the town.
