DS is constipated

Not sure what I should do...his normal bm schedule is every few days but his naturopath insisted that when we started solids, it should definately increase. It hasn't and now he's trying to poop and it's solid. Poor guy.

I've never had to deal with a constipated baby before. We don't do solids very often, maybe two times a week so he hasn't had anything but breastmilk since Tuesday. What should I do to help him?

belly massage, about an inch below the belly button, some bicycle riding with the babe's legs when he's lying down. then put him in a warm bath that may help...
how old is he? if not you may need to use a glycerin suppository just half of an infant one just to get thinks movin...check out Dr. Sears website..he has some other tips
good luck..I feel yours and his pain, I had the same probs with my daughter.
