Questions about my new Calyx..can you help?***ADDED PICS***

My new Calyx just arrived yesterday. I have a couple surface questions. I bought the Sumi-e design.
1. How do you pronounce Calyx...is it K-ay-lex or Kal-ex (short a)? 2. How do you pronounce Sumi-e? 3. What does the Chinese lettering stand for? (I was hoping that the chinese symbols would be showing on the outside but is only on the inside lining ) 4. Do you know the name of trees that are on this print? I like to know the meaning behind everything .
This will definately take some time to learn how to get dd's in and out with front and back carry, but I am excited!!!

haha! i'm like you in more that name! i tend to ask the same kinds of questions.

I can help you a little bit.
Calyx is pronounced: ka(as in cat)-licks. And I'm pretty sure that Sumi-e is pronounced "sue-mee ee"

As for the rest, I can't find a pic of one and have not seen one inperson (well, and frankly I don't know chinese ). SO.... I just messaged them to see what they say.
