When could your kids go all night in underpants?

Okay, so my boys are only 3.5yo, but they're still in pull-ups at night. I make them pee just before bed, and I usually get them up before I go to bed (10pm) and make them pee, and they do not stay dry. There have been several times when I've tried them in underpants for a week or two, but they always pee in the middle of the night -- and then keep on sleeping! Should I give up for a while and keep them in pull-ups or should I keep trying?

wife, doula, CPST, and homeschooling mom of four.

Looking forward to a new butt to fluff in December!

Re: When could your kids go all night in underpants?

Alllll of mine have been soooo different!!!

dd#1 was 8!! Yep...8!!! Accidents allll the time.
ds#1 was 2, never an accident.
ds#2 was 3. an occasional accident.
dd#2 was 3 , rarely an accident.
dd#3 is 4 and she decided she was no longer a baby. I was nervous but she has only had a few accidents. When we had night times on her she was never u may just want to try it a couple nights and see what happens.
dd#4 and ds#3 still wear dipes to bed at 2 1/2. They both wet through the nights.
