Re: How do you store/organize DD hair clips and stuff?

My stock bows are in a large plastic tote but DD"s are on two holders

her clips go on this, a no sew project, just fabric scraps and tape and a cheap frame -

I will get a pic of her hanging bow holders tomorrow!

YAY!!! Something like this is what i had in my head Today i came up with an idea...BF always has pieces of wood laying around so, I had him cut a piece for me (he just needs to make 1 edge straighter...i'm anal!). I have some flannel that matches DD's bedding that i made and I found some really pretty ribbon. I figure a couple picture hangers in the back so it can hang (it's going to be kind of heavy) some staples and/or hot glue and i should be set I'll try to work on it tomorrow and i'll show off pictures once i'm done.

I'm going to be making 4 of these as Christmas gifts. One for each of my nieces and one for DD. Going to see if I can get some little drawer knobs or hooks for hanging hair bands and ponys from it too.

Why do you not have stoppers on the ends?

Your clips hold the bows on, why would you need stoppers?? I use these & my bows stay on just fine

Stoppers are for bigger french clips that slide when busy hands want to take them off the holders, or just gravity if they are heavy. I made a holder with a bow at the top just like the ones you have posted and just sewed a cute button on the bottom. Cheap, easy easy craft. If I didn't make bows I could probably get away with only one bow holder...i have been addicted for years!

Yes I see she is just a baby..I made the suggestions because babies grow into toddlers, hair grows thicker and needs french barettes etc.. I have been making bows since my DD was two so I had to experiment a little and learn along the way

I was pretty militant about my dd and not touching her hairbows though...they are pretty sacred to her now LOL
