My 7 year old, 2nd grader, is petrified of the Magic School Bus. I mean she freaks out. She will not tell me what it is about the show that disturbs her so greatly, and I'm at a loss. Her teacher asked me about it the other day and I have no answers for him. I told her she can tell me, that I won't be upset and maybe I can help her, but she's not budging. I know she does not like Mrs. Frizzle's voice (Ruth Buzzie), but other than that, she will not say a word. Her eyes get all teary and she runs into the other room.
Any ideas?

Re: Magic School Bus question
She may be afraid of shrinking? My oldest (now almost 23yo) was terrified of Seseme Street, and will admit to it to this day. It wasn't until she was older, about your dd's age now, that she could verbalize that what scared her was the often "crazy" actions of the pupets.
