Question Can you make longies on a round knitting loom?

Is this possible? I don't have the patience to knit with needles, but I might be able to get myself to use a round loom. Would that work? I mean, theoretically, it's just 3 tubes put together, right? I would love to hear if some one was able to accomplish this. TIA!

I think it could be done... This is a pattern for a soaker... Then make legs and attach them. I did not make this pattern because it looks too loose. I am thinking that if the yarn were doubled up, it would thicken and at least appear to work better???

I know some people have posted about it and been successful. Good luck!

Huh. Looks like it CAN be done. One of these days I'll remember to use the search feature before I post my random ideas, LOL! Thanks Maggie!

Yes and daloom has some great wood looms with small enough pegs and spacing. The plastic looms are just too big for watertight longies. I'll warn you though...it takes WAY longer than just knitting them the normal way.
