DH accidentally put fabric softener in...

DH accidentally dried our pocket dipes (BG OS and HH) and prefolds with a Bounce sheet. Gah. What can I do to fix them? Should I just rewash? Strip with Dawn? I put a little water on a BG, and it seems to bead up more than usual, but not too terribly bad.

Just do a hot wash with some dawn and a few rinses. You should be good to go.

Yep! Hot wash with some dawn and several rinses! They should be A-ok! My Step-mom did that when I first started. I thought I was going to have to throw them out! lol

The cleaning and scrubbing will wait till tomorrow, For children grow up, as I've learned to my sorrow. So quiet down, cobwebs. Dust go to sleep. I'm rocking my baby and babies don't keep.

Personally - I'd use them. I've used occational fabric softener on pockets and not had any problems. You can always toss them back in the wash and rewash if they are repelling but after only one wash they're probably fine.

I've had that happen and it didn't hurt them at all. I just kept using them and didn't have any leaks.

And make sure you give DH a hug for washing laundry!
