You can go to his website and look them up. Go to forums. He will usually reply to questions too.

I tried the website but could only find 1 of the meds. Also, unless you are part of the medical field, you can't post questions.

Me, too, please! Re: Anyone willing to look up some medications in Hale's?

Help! I can't find my Hale's! (It's been awhile since I was doing phone volunteering) My cousin asked me to look up Phenergan for her. Maybe it was my recent pregnancy, but while this drug is familiar, I can't remember anything about it! Cousin is nursing her 14 month old and 7 weeks pregnant. Dr prescribed Phenergan for severe morning sickness.

TIA!!!

"There are data that suggest promethazine (Phenergan) may induce apnea in some infants.

A better, but expensive, alternative is Zofran (ondansetron)"

Re: Anyone willing to look up some medications in Hale's?

See the website link above. Phenergan is prescribed as an anti-nausea drug, common for those who experience hyperemesis gravidarum. Googling drug names and conditions might help more than posting a question here that may not be answered in a timely manner.

Also, keep in mind that Dr. Hale ONLY addresses breastfeeding mothers and children (in this case, the duo of your mommy and her 14 month old), not the 7 week pregnancy and its potential effects on the peanut.

You can go to www.safefetus.com and it will give you info on drugs that are safe during pg but I also think it addresses bfing as well.
