OMG My daughter got kicked out of her pedis office!!

Our pedis office won't see children who aren't vaccinated, but to be so mean about it is totally out of line! I hope your daughter can find a dr who is more in line with her thinking and kind.

the doctor said that in THOSE words????!!!
I mean I dont inmunize my kids and many if not all the doctors that I have seen dont agree with it and try to persuade me but respect me. I would not mind if one of them tells me that he dont want my kids as patients but they have to say it nicely....something like .." I am sorry I dont see patients who are not inmunized" .

Yep, she said exactly that. A fat woman dr. my daughter said. Not only did she say that but also told her it was okay to turn the car seat forward facing now that he is 1 year and 22lbs! My daughter also told her no she was going to keep him rear facing until 33lbs like the car seat says since it is 5 times safer to keep them rear facing. I think the dr. was upset that a 22 year mom was smarter than she was!
I told my daughter she was doing the right thing and to stand her ground!
I also let her read all of your replies to let her know all the mommies are on her side too!

Heck yes we are on her side. That was very rude of that doc. There is a polite was to "get fired" from your pedi (which I think it wrong anyways). I know they can refuse anyone but just because they don't want to vax is just crazy.

My SIL's ped refuses patients with parents that smoke. But they say that up front when you make the initial call... I thought it was odd, but now it seems trivial compared to this...
