Washing wipes w/ dipes?

There are some really cute flannel/velour/sherpa wipes on Ebay (trudy4u---someone recommended her here) but are these going to cause pilling on my Fuzzi Bunz if I was them all together? I don't really want to have to do a load of dipes and a load of wipes.

i never wash mine separate. granted i don't have a ton of fbs (or similar) but i've never noticed a pilling issue with them. maybe wash them bythemselves the first time if you're really worried - that always seems to be when my flannel wipes fuzz the most.

The only thing i would recomend is if you get the wipes, is to wash them alone on hot the first time when you get them. Some velour has a tendancy to bleed a little bit even after it is prewashed. And I think you would cry if your dipes turned all purple or something... I know I would...

Hmm maybe I will just wash them separately. Wouldn't be THAT big of a deal I guess.

I have a bunch of her wipes (I might be one that suggested her, because I love them)! I washed them by themselves the first time, and now I usually just was them with my dipes. (Mostly fb's.) I haven't really noticed any pilling--the biggest issue has been a little bit of colored "fluff" sticking onto my dipes.

It really isn't a big deal, because it's easy to pick off. But, since I don't dry my dipes (I hang dry), and I do dry my wipes, it doesn't really cause much of a problem. (I dry my wipes and inserts together.)

But, when it bugs me, I just wash my wipes separately with my hemp inserts. (I don't wash hemp with micro and fb's.)

It really hasn't been an issue though!

Is she doing a custom order for you? I think I bought like 30 wipes from her, she has the cutest fabric!!

Annalee: Yes, it was you! She has 2 bids that I am looking at now, but I wonder if I shouldn't just email her to see what other fabrics she has so I could do a custom order of about 30 or so. She DOES have cute fabric! They look nice.

That's what I did! I just emailed her and she offered to just do them for me without using ebay. That way she didn't have to pay fees, I got to pick exactly what I wanted, and we were both happy!

She has some adorable fabrics!! I got some flannel/sherpa and some flannel/velour. I love them both, but I think the flannel/velour is my favorite.

I just picked out the flannel colors/designs and told her to pick out the back colors---she did such a great job! I love them.

I am thinking of ordering more just to give as baby gifts.

I always wash everything together & have never had any problems, but you might do a test with the wipes & one hand towel or insert before using & washing them..
