What shampoo do you use on you LO's hair? Update w/question

UPDATE:Well, bought some Loreal Kids..washed her hair this morning...greasy greasy greasy, worse than the suave. I am thinking about trying a different brand of baby shampoo. If Johnson's baby shampoo (regular) made her hair oily what to you think about the kind with lavendar in it. Also, the Johnson's head to toe used to makeher hair oily, should I go back to it or try another brand of all in one baby wash?

DD's hair is long (overhalfway down her back) and for now we have been using Suave kids shampoo because Johnsons baby shampoo made he hair super oily. Well, now the Suave is doing it... She has the same hair texture as I do and I can't handle cheap shampoo. I am wondering what other's use. I don't want to spend more than $5 a bottle. I think that the issue maybe because the suave is a 2 in 1 (includes conditioner). I have looked at the loreal for kids and it does too...so I am thinking that it out! So...what do you use?

The cleaning and scrubbing will wait till tomorrow, For children grow up, as I've learned to my sorrow. So quiet down, cobwebs. Dust go to sleep. I'm rocking my baby and babies don't keep.

Re: What shampoo do you use on you LO's hair?

Sorry, I don't use shampoo on my kids' hair. When I did use shampoo on DD hair I usually used whatever I was using at the time (pantene, dove, biolage etc.)

I have two boys and I don't use shampoo on them. I have some awesome all natural (and fun) soap for them and I use it on their hair too. I LOVE it...and so do they

I use the Suave 3 in 1, it's shampoo, conditioner and body wash in one, but with your problem i'm sure this would only be worse than the 2 in 1.
Maybe there's a wahm who makes some?

I switch around. Right now I am using the Method hair/body wash and then I put a little of my conditioner just in the ends.
My DD does not every get greasy...she is only 2 and doesn't have a ton of hair. What she has is super fine and little baby curls so it's prone to getting rat's nest-ish.
The Method seems to work well and is tearless.
I tried using the Earth's Best spray in detangler to avoid tangles, but it didn't do a great job..kinda left her hair dried out. Maybe it would work well for you though if your DD is prone to getting oily.

we use Burt's Bees and/or avalon organics. I won't use any of the mainstream chemical/paraben laden stuff.

Same here. We started out using Arbonne Baby Care. Got too expensive. I use the California Baby for the body and I started using a few drops of my shampoo, Biolage and it seems to work.

Jonesy: Where do you get the soap that you and your boys love?

It's going to be a while till the California stuff runs out and when it does I am going to try something else. I love trying new things! I will check out Skin Deep web site before picking. I have a feeling that my shampoo isn't good for me, but it makes me hair soft and clean and smells good too!

We used the Aveeno body wash for sensitive skin until the bottle ran out this week. I got Method stuff to try today.
