Re: Baby food making ?

I use a food processer if making big batches. I have a small baby food mill if I feed her something we are eating, like oatmeal and banana, or soup (without the salt or pepper added).

Re: Baby food making ?

At first I just cooked my baby's food in the crockpot at first (big batches of sweet potatoes and squash mostly) and then mashed it with a fork and froze it in glass baby food jars.

He quickly graduated to eating whatever we were eating and so I just took some of it out for him and mashed it up with a fork and either froze it in a baby food jar or fed it to him.

I never did use a blender or food processor with any of my kids. By the time my girls cared anything about eating they had teeth to chew.
