Re: LO turned 1 today! Weaning planned to begin...

He's sick now.
He was up every hour last night - hacking and coughing. I think his throat hurts, too. So, we will start back when he's back to his normal self.
Thanks for all the positive encouragement!

i'm glad to have found this 'blog' - my son is 11 mo and has never slept well, from the minute we took him home from the hospital! I am looking forward to doing night weaning in a few weeks . . . thanks for the posts.

Yes, it is. Since he's such an independent boy, when he's sick I KNOW IT! He just wants to be held. (I hope my DUO comes soon!)
I think he has RSV again now. His fever is down - it was 103.5 last night. Today he doesn't have one.
Thank You, Kelly!

AND - he did get back to sleep on his own last night - even though he wasn't feeling well. I heard him through the monitor, got up, and by the time I walked down the hall to his room, he was almost asleep. YAY! Just a few days work is already paying off! :O)

Not sure if you cosleep or not but we did. I also moved dd into her crib at the same time. It worked very well! Good luck!
Thank you for that great link.
