Potty Learning Help!

Ok mama's, here it is...
My DS just turned 18 months and has been using the potty off and on for the past two months. We were just "exposing" him to the idea. Well....for the past week he has used the potty, asking to go, with only two or less accidents a day. So different than my DD who is now 4.
At home he wears undies, but when we are out he wears his prefolds. My question/confusion is should I keep him in undies all the time, if not when do I switch him to undies all the time and will be regress? My DD was 2 when she fully learned, it took 6 months. It has only been a week for my DS, never knew it could be so easy.
Thanks!

I say put him in undies. You could get some waterproof trainers for out and about. I potty trained in one day. I went on diaper strike and was day and night trained that day. My mom did the same thing, months of exposure and one morning it all made sense. I was 18 mo old. I only regressed one week when I was 4--so my mother tells me.
