how to nap with a prefold

i really want to believe in prefolds but i'm having a hard time with prefolds at naptime. twice i've put my little one down for a short nap with a prefold on with a bummis cover. both times he's woken up with the sheets completely drenched. do i need to put an insert in with the pf? if so, what kind of insert should i use (i'm still brand new to this whole thing)?

When I use PFs, I do an infant sized one w/ a preemie sized one trifolded in as a doubler and a Thirsties cover

nak are you pulling out the wing so that they wrap (as if you were going to snappi or pin?) that will help. w/a 0-4 month old, if you have cloth wipes, bamboo is best, you can fold an 8x8 in 1/2 and lay it in the wet zone. for older babes hemp or bamboo doublers rock. as long as you not using pfs w/a polyester core, you can make it work.

My son used to nap in a prefold with a trifolded microfiber towel and fleece liner. We would use a fleece cover or wool covers.

you can buy them at walmart. I 'm pretty sure they are cheap. Like $4 for 12 and you can cut them to the size you need.

'I suggest Walmart in the automotive dept. I buy the "bag of rags"there, you get something like 12 for $5,just be sure the microfiber doesn't touch baby's skin
