What size do I need in a baby ktan?

I've been looking into this and I think it's the one for me! I've read that the sizes run big. I am 5'2"-5'3"ish, and pre-pregnancy I was 135 lbs. After my baby is born, however, I'm thinking I'll be 140-145 lbs. I usually wear medium-sized shirts. Any help is greatly appreciated!

I'm thinking you need a size small...I'm about 5'5" and 130 lbs. bra size 36 A (so sad, isn't it?) and I wear a Small.

Well...it's hard to say. I am 5'5" and 145lb. and by their charts I should wear a small. But when I tried them on at the babywearing conference in Chicago this summer, the owner told me to buy an XS. It is a little too tight for my liking, but you're smaller than I am so I'm guessing the XS would be right for you?

Anyway, the sizes *do* run big. My 6'0" DH wears a small comfortably. I can wear his, but it is a little looser than I would like. I've concluded that I'm just between sizes!

Yeah I've been looking at both the xsmall and small. I suppose if one doesn't fit, I can always exchange it. I'm overseas though, so it's a pain in the butt waiting for shipping! I wonder if too big is better than too small, or vice versa?

Do you have an APO address? If you do, the shipping usually doesn't take too long (longer than if you were in the US, though!!). I'm really comfy in my small (I am a little taller than you, but I weigh slightly less....what is your bra size?

My normal bra size is 36B. But when I'm BFing I'm a 36C or D. And I'll be BFing for a year when DS2 comes in March. Does the size depend more on height or weight I'm wondering? I wouldn't want one that's too long. And yes I have an APO so it usually takes up to 2 weeks. At least the cost of shipping is the same!

Hmmmm...we're also the same bra size (well not really...I'm now a 36A...they shrunk from before I nursed!!)...it's just that I'm a couple inches taller...you I'm still thinking that a small would be OK for you b/c you weigh a few pounds more, plus you'll be b/fing. If you're still unsure, you could shoot Michel at Baby K'tan an email via their site...she's been really helpful to me in the past.

wow they must run really big instead of just big reading the responses! I guess I should see if dh would like to try the ktan we have instead of fsoting it

im curious if you ended up buying the k'tan. i recently bought one in size xs. they website recommended buying on the smaller size. pre-baby, i was 103, 5'2. im now about 115. the sling seems almost too tight on my son...i'm wondering how yours fits you.
